You will rest your caravan or pitch your tent in a grassy field far from the pressure of modern life with large pitches facing south with panoramic views over Braunton Burrows to the Taw estuary and across the Torridge towards Bideford and Appledore. It is the ideal area for many holidaymakers. Lobb Fields is just over a mile from Braunton village and under two miles from Saunton beach, a beautiful three mile stretch of golden sand that's never crowded.

In this area of outstanding natural beauty you have great surfing nearby at Saunton, Croyde and Putsborough; in addition there is windsurfing, kite-surfing, water skiing, fishing, rock climbing horse riding, bicycling on the Tarka Trail and magnificent walks to many of the local beauty spots. Two miles west of Braunton are Braunton Burrows, the largest area of sand dunes in England with Britain's first world class Biosphere Reserve adjoining the Saunton championship 18 hole golf course.

Scenes at Lobb Fields

You are advised to book for the Spring Holidays and the summer months.  On the Site Page you can find an aerial picture of Lobb Fields and the plans of the Fields
Also do consider visiting Lobb Fields during the early part of the season when Devon can be at its most glorious; holidays in low and mid seasons have so much to offer

Arrival times.
Those arriving early will be able to book in at Reception on arrival but it is normally very unlikely that they will be able to move onto their pitch until after 12 o'clock midday. If they should wish to go away for the day the Lobb Staff will then do their utmost to find a temporary parking place for the caravan
