The Game is Afoot….
Well we’ve been down to sunny Devon for our annual summer break and have made some progress with the big day plans.
Firstly although we already had  the date set at  St Brannocks in Braunton we thought it best to pop back and pay another visit, especially after our last visit the vicar headed off for a 4 month sabbatical (not sure if it was  mine or Crook’s singing that did it ).  Anyhow she is due back after we  return to sunny Nunny but we met with the lovely ladies who do the flowers, the organist  who has promised to look up the music for Jesus Wants Me as a Sunbeam and had a quiet word with the Big Man for a bit of sunshine next year.  So Church = tick

Secondly  we met with Steve the Marquee Man at the venue for the reception and we’re pretty much sorted with that too although Crook was momentarily flumuxed when pushed for the deciding decision on choice of carpet colour and chair styles.  It’s all in the details Crook.  Quick pic below of the location for the party (and the hike up) so Reception Venue = tick.  So far so good

Last but not least a mention must go to the lovely Lobb Fields campsite which is where our decision to get married down here in the village of Braunton stemmed from.  Jeremy one of the owners of the site has offered to give any of you  keen campers out there preferential pitches if you book early and he is also helping us create this page for us.  The camp site will feature in the wedding plans and we’ll be uploading pics and progress reports here so please pop back from time to time to see how we’re getting on.
