Black Rat Cycle
This weekend saw the second Black Rat Cyclosportive based at Lobb Fields. The weather forecast was high winds and heavy showers. Not the sort of weather you want when participating in either a 100mile or the 100 km cycle challenge. The ride took the competitors along the extremely hilly coast road towards Lynmouth and onto Exmoor.
However the weather did end up being kind and wasn’t as bad as forecasted, out of 150 starters only 2 failed to complete the course. The early feedback from the people who took part was really good and positive. 

The event has been provisionally for next year 9th September 2012 so start training now and take part
