Life at Lobb

28 April - 2 May 2010

Yet again the weather forecast made by the Met Office, the BBC and others was way off the mark for us here in Braunton and the surrounding area. They told us we were in for a total Bank holiday washout!
Apart from a damp start on the Saturday morning, the weather we actually had was wall to wall sunshine but with a cool breeze. Subsequently the many different delicious aromas permeated around the campsite from peoples’ BBQs . Actually in reality there were a few smell of burnt sausages and burgers, but everyone seemed to have a good time!

The Wain group enjoying a feast of ‘fruit and fibre’.  YUMMY!!!!

Tracey and Andy, with Max and Manfred, enjoying the morning sunshine

The Lawtons, who were part of the Love-Jone's party, enjoying a much quieter start to the day

A small representative of the Love-Jone's family group getting together for breakfast

The Slark Family and friends booked for 1 night but enjoyed the campsite and area so much that they stayed for longer, as did others

Hitch and Ed grabbing a morning coffee from the subshack.

Caroline and Adam having a hearty feast before meeting a group from the Walking Festival at Velator Quays.
